Yesterday I was lucky enough to do a re-visit to another one of our customers, and what a surprise I saw! Last year we supplied rootball Prunus Lusitanica so that they could plant a fresh hedge at the front roadside of their house, and I couldn’t believe how well it has come on in one year, the pictures don’t do the customers efforts justice!!!

Some of you may remember, that when we did our annual pilgrimage to a trade show in January, we hinted at the citrus trees we had available, well now we have dropped the hammer and pulled them into stock! Just look at the size and quality of those that are growing!!! Boss Man’s done something special here! An alternative to Buxus, here at HQ, we have sourced something a little bit different, Ilex Crenata to be precise! These grow just the same as Buxus, nice glossy leaves, tight in growth and evergreen, the bonus is that they grow faster! We have them in both the green and the golden gem variety, now the only thing that you have to decide is where and how many do you need!!!

Over the years we have done many deliveries to customers, whether it be to their homes or places of work. Every so often, one property will always stand out, it may be for the location, products delivered or just simply they were nice people to work with! On this occasion however, Chris and Alison fell into all of the above! Last year, HQ supplied them with a combination of LARGE Bay standards, Buxus hedging and Hydrangea Annabelle. The brief was to give their entrance walkway that wow factor, and judging by the pictures that Alison has provided, I think we have achieved!!! It’s that time of year again and this year, I have to admit, we have the best we have ever had! No festive season would be complete without the best tree, and here we have them, and the best bit, most of them come blocked so you won’t have that worry of making sure it fits in the stand and is it secure!!! All our Christmas Trees are premium grade Nordman Spruce, their needle retention is brilliant and we can honestly say, the vast majority of our trees are grown here in Yorkshire! The only thing left for you to do is to rearrange your room to make space for the perfect tree!!!
